1. Take your sweetie back to where you had your first date, your first kiss, or the spot where you first met each other. You can 're-create' that romantic moment, but include your marriage proposal at the end.
   
   
2. Rent a rowboat and go out on the open water for a picnic. Take along a single rose, a bottle of champagne, and of course the engagement ring. Pause in the middle of the lake and surprise your sweetie when you pull out your picnic basket. After a romantic picnic, declare your feelings and and ask for your sweetie's hand in marriage.
   
   
3. Pick a restaurant and invite her family to join you for dinner (but make sure they keep it a secret). On the big night, have them waiting at the restaurant with you. Rent a limo for her ride to the restaurant and have the chauffeur escort her to the restaurant entrance. When she opens the door, be waiting near the entrance. She'll be surprised to see you there with her family. As she walks toward you, get down on one knee and ask her to marry you. An added touch would be to have music playing when she walked in.

I have an idea of proposing to my boyfriend. We've known each other since jr.high schoool and been in love with each other since high school. I want to propose to him on the 50 yard line of our high school's football field. I watched him play football there and we both were on the school track and field team during our high school years. Is that cool or what?
