So every year my whole family and I go to the tree lighting at Rockefeller center and last year my sister was proposed to, Aaron, her fiance got down on one knee the moment that the lights were turned on and asked the question. It was fantastic

I will be proposing to my soon to be fiance this weekend in NYC, and agree with the Times Square idea. It will undoubtedly catch her off-guard, which in a long distance relationship is hard to do! She said that "when you propose to me I will know because you'll be here and we'll probably go out to eat at a fancy restaurant, or something, and then I'll know you're going to finally propose". This way is much more fun!
