Are you looking for a truly magical marriage proposal? Disney is the ultimate in magical marriage proposal ideas. We've got Disney World and Disneyland marriage proposal ideas as well as general Disney engagement ideas.
Consider buying one of their bricks at Epcot with your message in it (or at least your names and engagement date).
Propose during dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom. If you let them know ahead of time, you may be able to get them to bring your ring out in a glass slipper with dessert.
Book a 'Breathless' IllumiNations cruise for two and propose during the show.
Propose at Disney's most romantic restaurant, Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian. You may be able to get 'Albert' to bring the ring out on a silver platter with roses during dessert.
At night, take her to the Rose Garden near the Castle (where the Mickey and Minnie shrubs are). Sit her down on the bench, then pop the question.
Gifts of a Lifetime, has 'pixies' that can pop up with your surprises or even be there to take a photo of the special occasion!
Take her to Disneyland and propose to her in front of the castle, out of the blue, in the middle of traffic.
Propose in front of Cinderella's Castle during the fireworks in front of everyone. Be sure to get someone take a picture of two!
If there is a certain country she'd like to visit, but you don't have the money to fly there, take her to that particular country in Epcot at Disney World. It's a perfect place to pop the question as there are pavilions for many countries. Try to arrange having one of the workers that take pictures around to snap photos of your special moment.
Take her to Disneyland and ride the Snow White ride. As soon as you round the corner and see the evil witch peek out of the window, ask her to marry you.
Propose during 'Wishes' at the California grill! Don't forget the roses.
Sign up for a luxurious couples spa treatment at the the Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club. They offer a couple's room and you can surprise her with a proposal while you're lying together being pampered.
Take her on the Grand Floridian's yacht cruise that offers a spectacular view of the "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks display. They also offer butler service and gourmet meals on board. Propose during dinner on the yacht or during the fireworks display.
Spend a romantic day in the sun and water at one of Disney's water parks. Propose as your snorkel hand in hand at Typhoon Lagoon above the sharks and fish or propose during a romantic picnic lunch in the sand.
Take a romantic walk on the boardwalk, a re-creation of America's mid-Atlantic waterfronts of the past. Stroll down the boardwalk hand-in-hand, soak in the sunset, step into one of the restaurants for a bite to eat, and top the night off by sharing an ice cream cone and getting down on one knee.
Find out if Disney will rent out that new suite IN Cinderella's castle, let her think you are going there for dinner, and when you arrive have the waiter direct you to the room letting her think she's going to another part of the restaurant. When the doors open, have candles lit, soft Disney music playing, and ask for her hand in marriage.
At Disneyland or Disney World, arrange for her favorite character to pose for a picture and hand her the ring. Then drop to one knee and ask for her hand in marriage...
Ride the Tower of Terror at Disney World and at the top when they take the picture ask her to marry you.
Propose on Splash Mountain, right at the top of the drop.
Take her to the Coral Reef Restaurant at the Living Seas Pavilion in Epcot. Let them know about your plans in advance so they'll seat you by the water. Have dinner and have a diver (or Mickey?) come to your table with a sign that says "Marry Me?".
Propose at the Wishing Well to the right of Cinderella's Castle. It is a very romantic site and semi-private. with a perfect view of the castle. It's the perfect way to grant her wish after she tosses a penny into the wishing well.
If you want to get really creative, you could put on a whole production! Check out this magical proposal:

Does any one have pictures of the dinner for two on the balcony.
I am going to disney and have already made my reservation for the dinner for two on the balcony with the butler service.
But they will not show me photos of the views from the balcony.
They say you can see the castle, the illuminations show and the wishes show as well from the balcony.
Even though i am sure it is a great view i want to be certain.
She is kind of shy so I am planning on proposing on the balcony durring the fireworks. So i really want that night to be perfect in every way that i can make it.
Any other suggestions would be greatly apprecited.

Adam- I don't think there is any way you can rent out the Cinderella Castle Suite. The last 2 years they've let guests who won in the year of a million dreams promotion stay there. As far as I know, they now rent it out to companies I think. I did hear a rumor that they may also use it for disney wedding couples, but who knows. I think it would be amazing for proposals, honeymoons, wedding nights, etc though. How incredibly romantic!!

I am going to surprise her with a trip to disney, but she isn't going to know that, that is where we are going. Then when we get there we will check into our hotel and then go to magic kingdom and while watching the fireworks i am going to "pop the question"...I got her a 1 carat tiffanys ring hope she says yes!!!!!

Being a cast member, one piece of advice I can give you guys is do *not* ask characters to help you with a proposal. Characters cannot hold the ring, nor can they explicitly agree to helping you propose. It all has to do with liability.

Another great one is to get 2-3 friends in on the proposal. Then, make your lady sit in the front seat while your friends and you behind her hold up a sign that says "Marry Me?" on it right before the big drop where they take the picture. Then, propose to her when she sees the picture after the ride!

Hey Lance in Illinois, I checked out www.CandleTrailProductions.com and you're right, they have quite a business. I'm using them for my proposal at the Grand Floridian. I can't wait! Thanks for the recommendation.
