Put glow sticks in the helium ballon, and have it floating in the air by tying the lines in a rock. Spelling Will you marry me? This could only be done at night.
Just thought of that, thinking of how to pop my question to her. But would like to share with people who are in my position.
Another thing i have done for her was in highschool.
To ask her out to prom. I had bought 100 roses. Then, when she was gone for a soccer game, I had taken all the petals out from the long stem rose, and tied a thread at the bottom of the stem. And upside down, pin it or tape it to the ceiling of her room. Make sure that the roses are in all different lengths. And scatter rose petals all over her bed. Having 100 roses in her room, she loved it. She did not want to take it down since it was so nice to have that much flower in her room. If your lady does not like roses, then switch it to a different flower. She will love this trust me.
Another thing that i have done to ask her to a prom was to have candles lead her to the place i want her to come, and each candle had roses. As she picks the roses she will know whats going on, but does not know where it leads to. Go buy or better yet, make a dinner for her. And have a wine or what ever. Accidently drop your fork and have the ring ready. As you pick your fork up, kneel and pop the question. I made her a big album of all of our pictures, since i was into photography in highschool. she knew that it meant a lot to me and so it meant a lot to her too. I think what really matters is that everything has to mean something to either you or to her or both.
another idea, if your place allows fire or some sort of canlde lights. Well, you guys seen those candle hot air balloon that chinese people make? It flys without helium. Make sure you tie it and let it float. Make sure that its not going to be windy. Have it floating spelling out marry me. blind fold her or soemthing, and afterwards, have a night picnic. Bring some warm blanket or some sort of comforter to warm her down.
Another idea, haha, is your soon to be fiance working? Have her boss go to places and each places that she goes to, she gets some sort of flowers, different types, and that person should tell her to bring it back to her work. Have it done like 5 or 6 places, she will not notice anything, i dont think. She will be like what on earth, my boss wants flowers from these people? When she comes back with all that roses into her work place, surprise her by showing up and pop the question. Sorry its sort of corny. But you guys get the idea, play around, get her friends at work or boss involved. Make something, this is just an idea on what you could do.
Another idea, have a gift cards made up in each store. saying Will for the first gift card. then you, and so forth. till the last gift card say marry me? when she goes shopping, make sure you have her best friend go with her so that she knows where to bring her. Then the store should say, this is a promo, and were giving out 5 dollar gift certificate or how ever you want, or a fake card. And if you want to prolong this make it into a weekend proposal by having her win a ticket to a disney or theme parks. Your choice. Anyways, this helps me think of mine as well, but hopefully im helping someone out there think.
haha, one thing to think about is that, something that deals with your profession. For me im a photographer. Using a polaroid camera and film, take pictures of places like cafe but scout out places and signs that will spell out will you marry me? or be my wife? something and make her an album. At first she wont notice it, but as she looks at the album that you have made for her, in the end, give her clues by having a polaroid picture of the word YES WILL YOU? kneel and pop.
