You dress up, rent a limo, and dine at a 4-star restaurant. Most would consider this date near the top of the romance chart. Romance is not just about the grand gestures though. Sure, every women loves to receive a dozen red roses, but real romance that transcends time is found in your every day actions.
Here are some ways to incorporate romance into your everyday life:
Breakfast Love.
Make a date for a romantic breakfast. Eat breakfast together in bed while you ponder the day ahead. Create a romantic meal by cutting her toast into heart shapes with a cookie cutter or add heart shaped ice cubes to his orange juice. You could even create heart shaped pancakes using a cookie cutter. If you'd rather not cook, make a breakfast date. Even if it's I-Hop, head out for a breakfast together.
Auto Love.
On a cold winter day, go outside and start her car for her so that it's warm when she gets in to leave. If you're in a colder area, perhaps you could scrape the ice off her windshield or shovel the snow from around the car.
Lunch Love.
Make him a lunch and put a love note inside letting him know what's waiting for him when he gets home. Surprise her at the office and take her out to lunch. Make a lunch date, but spending your time lovin' rather than eatin'.
Say "I Love You".
Sure, you say "I Love You", but the key to making those three little words more romantic is surprise. Give your sweetie a call at lunch just to tell them that you were thinking of them. Send them a text message just to say "I Love You." Leave them a voice mail telling them "I Love You".
Dinner Time.
An everyday dinner can be turned into one filled with romance. Eat dinner by candle light or on your good china rather than everyday dishes. Add aphrodisiacs to the dinner menu for a spiced up night. Surprise him with his favorite dinner or bring home takeout from her favorite restaurant.
Romantic TV.
The next time you sit down together in front of the TV, watch something romantic! Set your tivo ahead of time for a romantic tv show or movie or pick up a romantic flick from your local video store. If you're not watching something romantic, make the moment romantic. Get a large blanket and cuddle up close on the couch.
Romantic Relaxation.
Fill the tub with bubbles and candles all around let her relax in the tub. While she's relaxing in the tub, do the dinner dishes for her. If she's
Lingerie Lovining.
If you want to really turn up the bedroom romance, surprise him with some sexy lingerie.
Use candles everywhere.
Candles make everything more romantic. If you've ever eaten a romantic dinner by candle light, you know what we mean. Eat a romantic dinner by candle light together (or at least a decadent dessert), dance to your song by candle light, take a candle lit bubble bath together, and then make love by candle light.
Sleep in romance.
Even sleeping can be romantic... especially depending on what happens before hand. Buy a set of satin sheets.
