Sweet Heart Oatmeal Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookies

This cookie is perfect for the couple that can't decide whether to bake his mothers chocolate chip cookie or her grandma's famous oatmeal cookie.

Ingredients:
2 sticks of Butter
1 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
3/4 tsp Salt
1 1/2 cup Oats
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1 cup Butterscotch Chips

His Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Gather ingredients.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl.
Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture your partner is stirring.
Add vanilla.
Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an un-greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 min. in a 350 oven.
Remove from oven let cool for 10 minutes

Her Directions:
Gather the cookie pans, bowls, measuring cups and spoons.
Cream the softened butter till smooth in a bowl.
Gradually add the sugars and stir till smooth.
After flour is fully blended, add the oats, chocolate and butterscotch chips.
Using a large tablespoon, place rounded spoon full of dough on the cookie tray, nine per tray.
Remove baked cookies from cookie pan to a cooling rack.

Tip: Gather the ingredients together and have them at room temperature. Butter can be microwaved to soften, about 15 seconds

Makes 24 Large Cookies
