Is It You?

Searching and hoping to find that one heart destined to be your mate
For a chance for two hearts to touch and for forever love to be your fate
Will your hearts touch while you are young and with the sun high in the sky
Or will you meet in the twilight of life just in time to kiss and say good-bye

Heart's searching for true-love, that gift from God that makes Heaven on Earth
Where Hearts only live where love exists and your life does not begin at birth
Tears that again flow heavy as we once again reach for forever but end up blue
Everyone, looking, hoping, and praying, all with just one thought IS IT YOU?

IS IT YOU that will make my heart stop whenever you are near?
IS IT YOU that will come up and whisper I Love You in my ear?
IS IT YOU that my heart has longed for and now finally did find?
IS IT YOU that promises to always love me until the end of time?

How does one prepare for the pitfalls that love does have for each of us in store?
Where can we go to have love tested before our heart's become ripped and tore?
Tragedies like Romeo and Juliet of a true love allowed to die, God always knew
All hearts will find their soul-mates but only when hearts have matured and grew

All souls are married in heaven and each soul knew they have hardships to endure
Heartache that you will be paid for ten times over when in the grasp of loves allure.
Broken hearts and the agony of a lost love that make even the strongest of us cry!
Lost Loves that can become so tragic your heart will want to stop beating and die.

Through it all you must persevere as only your true-love can make your life whole
For your hearts true-love will find you, and then two hearts will become one soul
Be strong though hurting and crying now, because your heart will always be true
Someday a soul will reach out, touch your heart, and with tears in their eyes ask
