Forever Best Friend

Someone who cares for me when all others backs to me do turn.
An angel sent to quench the hurt in my soul so that I will not burn.
You are the one my heart can count on when all around me do fail.
You calmed the seas of my soul, even when at the force of a gale.

You gave me your shoulder when my fear I could no longer hide.
You held me when my heart burst, and my eyes flooded and cried.
You were in my corner when I was beaten up and I could not go on.
You stood beside me and I knew then your faith in me was strong.

Your soul I have so cherished, and your friendship my soul did feed.
I have held you when tragedies struck and your friend you did need.
To be there for you I will, until the life that is in my body does leave.
And if you go before I, I will sit beside you hold your hand and grieve.

We have been there for each other no matter what life at us threw.
We have loved each other forever, this our soul's have always knew.
Holding you so close that I can feel your heart beat against my chest
So much in love that God chose our souls to prove love's ultimate test.

I will be here beside you to soften all the blows that will hurt your soul
I will love you when our bodies get weak and tired and start to grow old
In our lives together we will love each other until our time here does end
and when our lives here are over our love to our next lives we will send

When old, the moonbeams may no longer shine down lighting our face.
We will hold each other and face destiny with love, courage and grace.
With tears racing down our faces we know that our love will never end!
We were more then eternal soul-mates, and lovers we were each other's
FOREVER BEST FRIEND!
