I've only been with this guy for about 3 months, but I've never felt as serious with anyone as I have him. He says the same. We're getting ready to go back to our homes for the summer, a month from now. We live a few hours apart. I want to try to keep our relationship going, assuming that we can see eachother every few weeks. He refuses to think that relationships can work over a distance, even if only for 4 months. He bases this on a past relationship that he had that didn't work out. However, he's says he would be really unhappy if I ended it a month before school got out because he feels so good when he's around me, and I'm the most kind girlfriend he's ever had. He's never cared for anyone like he has for me. He wants to spend the end of the semester together, but would understand if it might hurt me too much to do so. Is it worth is going on the next month and convincing him that its worth atleast trying the summer thing, or am I just setting myself up for further heartbreak?
