My most romantic date wasn't really a date. But I used to drive transport and we were planning on going out for a new years' eve party. I got home at 3 am new years. I missed everything. A friend of mine and I had spend the last 11 new years eves together. We met at a new years eve party when we were kids. Anyway I was so upset that I had missed everything. My bf stayed at home waiting for me so he had missed everything to. That new years day he disided we were going to have our own private party at home, only guests him and I.
I thought wow how exciting. He made supper for me. We watched a movie. Then we broke into the liqour cabinet and got out the bar book and started mixing any kind of drink you could imagin. Some how we end up in our under wear sitting in the middle of the living room floor, tipping back shooters and cocktails and everything under the sun. We talked, we laughed and we made the best love that I can remember right there on the floor. It doesn't sound to exciting but we had a blast and we will always remember our 1st new years together.

It's a tie between two different dates.
The first occurred very early in our relationship, when we were just getting used to the idea that we were in love with one another. We took a walk down to the Arboretum, the local park on campus, one very hot summer's day. We were trying to be all romantic and gleeful and we really had no idea where we were going. We ended up collapsing, sweaty and exhausted, in the grass in the middle of an open field. We just lay there for several moments and suddenly he looked up at me, grinned, and said, ''You are so beautiful.'' I responded with utter astonishment, ''You have a dead bug in your teeth!'' He gets so embarrassed whenever I tell that story, but it's such a favorite memory of mine. Later we went to the local Deli and just sat there eating our sub sandwiches and holding one another's hand. It was perfect.
The second date occurred a little under a year ago, on the Fourth of July.. We went out to a nice seafood resteraunt and then later snuggled on a blanket under the stars while we watched the fireworks. It was one of those flawless, simple evenings where everything manages to be just perfectly romantic. I'm such a lucky girl.

My answer doesn't really go with this but I wanted to share this anyway. Before I met my husband I didn't date. But the most romantic evening out with my husband was the day we got married. He arranged a very beautiful dinner at our favorite restaurant. We arrived in a limo, we had a window booth, the table was set up with lighted candels and lovely flowers. I will never forget that day. I think about it a lot and wish we could go back to relive it.

We've spent so many wonderful times together, but the most recent one was while I was visiting him - since we don't live in the same town - in Pittsburgh. We went to KFC and picked up some meals, and took a blanket to the West End Overlook where we had a picnic while overlooking the rivers and city. Then we just sat, holding hands, and talked. It was beautiful to just be with him and look at the city. He's planning on leaving and moving to be with me (after he finds a job here) so this memory will always remind me of where he is from and how the person that you are destined to be with doesn't necessarily live where you are.

One of the best dates I've ever been on has got to be the last time I was with my ex. We spent the whole day shopping and sightseeing in San Diego then that evening I took her out to this wonderful restaurant overlooking the ocean. I had called ahead and had a huge bouquet of flowers delivered to our table before we even got there and the food and the ambience was breathtaking. I couldn't take my eyes off of her and I will never forget that night. Unfortunatly that night is also the worst night of my life...I truly think a small part of me died that night. sorry about the somber ending....
