I do believe in love at first sight. It happened to me years ago, and I feel that if I can still feel this way eight years later, then it must be love. You just get these butterflies in the pit of your stomach when you see that person. You become shy but not discouraged, it's a wonderful feeling...

I do believe in "lust" at first sight... but not necessarally love.

I think it can happen more then once but to find the special someone that you will want to marry you will need to give it more time

I don't believe in love at first sight. To be in love with someone, you have to know what makes them them. What makes this person any different than the next? You have to know how this person came to be who they are, you have to know what they like, dislike, what they like to do with their free time and their funny little quirks. You have to know this person inside and out, you have to know them better than they do. You can't know ANY of that just by looking at someone.

I disagree. WHAT IF you see someone doing something very special - I believe you can fall in love with them because of their actions. I, however, also believe there are different levels of love. Is it the kind of love that can last for a lifetime? No, not based off of that one instance. Could you fall in love with someone you were initially attracted to? Of course. When I first met the love of my life I was definitely entering into the "lust at first sight." I've never personally witnessed love at first sight.

confusedgirl ny | Posted at 3:27am on Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 | i have for anyone who might be able to figure guys out. i was at a company function and met a coworker. i secretly think he is cute but never told him. he has known me for awhile but we never talked like this before. i was a little drunk so i told him about my life, my previous relationship and how i was sad about what had happened in my life. he consoled me and then we went outside the building and he kissed me! i was so drunk that i barely remember it. then i left and went back to my life. later i called him because someone at work asked who the guy was that i was dancing with at the function. i then remembered and wanted to find out what exactly happened so i called him. i said that i was sorry for whatever i had said to him and that i can barely remember what had happened. then i asked him if something had happened between us and he that not to worry nothing happened. why did he lie? do you think he thought i was embarrassed of him,or did he say that because he didn't really like me? or maybe because he didn't want me to worry? can anyone give me insight as to what could have been going on in his mind? |
