Have you ever had a pickup line used on you? What was the line? Did it work?

it could have been a line, but it worked

one day in Biology, it was really really warm and humid in the room. So I was like,"Man, its hot in here!" And this cute guy next to me says,"Yeah... you are!" I just blushed.

Pick up lines are useless. They make me laugh so much as well as make the guy look stupid. There are so many other better techniques to do when first meeting a girl. After building some rapport and playing around, I'll thrown in pick up lines just to have some more fun. Just in the beginning, they are lame... dont use them. Unless you plane on looking like some pervert or just another desperate male.

When I was in Egypt a lot of the merchants would flirt with me and the rest of the girls whoe were in my group. One of them said to me, "The stars are very beautiful, you are beautiful." He wasn't very good at English, and I had made the mistake of saying the stars were pretty. He understood that. At the Cairo market one merchant came to me and started pointing at the ground behind me and said, "You dropped it, you dropped it." So I turned around and tried to find out what I dropped. Then he put his hands on his chest and said, "My heart, you have dropped my heart." They like to use that one, and I can't believe I fell for it!

confusedgirl ny | Posted at 3:27am on Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 | i have for anyone who might be able to figure guys out. i was at a company function and met a coworker. i secretly think he is cute but never told him. he has known me for awhile but we never talked like this before. i was a little drunk so i told him about my life, my previous relationship and how i was sad about what had happened in my life. he consoled me and then we went outside the building and he kissed me! i was so drunk that i barely remember it. then i left and went back to my life. later i called him because someone at work asked who the guy was that i was dancing with at the function. i then remembered and wanted to find out what exactly happened so i called him. i said that i was sorry for whatever i had said to him and that i can barely remember what had happened. then i asked him if something had happened between us and he that not to worry nothing happened. why did he lie? do you think he thought i was embarrassed of him,or did he say that because he didn't really like me? or maybe because he didn't want me to worry? can anyone give me insight as to what could have been going on in his mind? |
