Which is the better idea???

Idea Number 1. My soon to be fiancee is in Paris for the next 3wks, she'll fly back into LAX then catch a flight to SFO where I'm supposed to meet her. My thought was to suprise her at LAX as she comes out of customs and ask her to marry me then fly us back first class to SFO. The only problem is the ring might not be ready by then as it's being custom made. I was going to suprise her at LAX regardless.

Idea Number 2. To go back to our first date spot in Sausalito and ask her there. I was going to somehow manage to get a small camera crew to pretend they were doing interviews of couples in love for say a tv special on love/romance, have the interviewer ask us a few questions then pop the question. This way we would have our engagement caught on video.

I'm torn between the two ideas and would probably lean towards option 1 if I knew the ring was going to be ready as she is very broken hearted right now about being in Paris without me as this is the longest we've ever been apart.
