Something for those who hurt

This is something I wrote a long time ago... for a friend who was really badly hurt, and I hope it helps people to see that there will always be someone there for them, even if they feel alone. This is what love is for me, being able to give everything you've got, even when your love can't return it. One day the they'll return it tenfold.

Some people build up walls to stop them feeling the pain
Some people swear blind that they'll not feel love again
Some people seek out another to help them to find who they are
But you put your love behind bars

hey nice poem, id like to write poetry, perhaps i will practice oneday, how long did it take to write this one? how long have you been writting poems for?

i liked this one too. reads like a song. i think poetry would be a good release. i don't have that talent, but i do write in a journal, which is another good release.
