I was a junior in high school and it was the first day of a new school year. Into class walks this beautiful girl with long brown hair. WOW!! She was about 5'2" and petite. I said to myself, "I want to get to know her."

So I talked to a mutual friend and found out that she had just broken up with her boyfriend. So I had her hook us up. We got to know each other, but she resisted at first. We dated, she broke up with me, and after a few months we dated again. Then there was the first kiss. We both knew there there was something special in that kiss. We both felt it! We were a couple from then on.

Then it happened - she got pregnant. What would our parents say? What would we do? I was only 17 - she was 16. I did not want to lose her; I was madly in love with her. But how could I support her and our baby? I knew that I must take the responsibility for this baby that was as much mine as hers, but how? After weighing our options, we decided, with our parents blessing, to get married.

That was over 32 years ago and we are still madly in love. She is my best friend, my partner, my lover. I would rather be with her that anyone else on earth. Oh, and that first kiss? There is still something special when we kiss. My heart still races. Has it been easy? No way. I had a lot of growing up to do. But it has been so worth every struggle. And when I look into her eyes tonight, kiss, say, "I love you, " and snuggle up next to her, I will fall in love with her all over again.

that's a great story. you don't often hear about long term relationships that started when the people were teenagers.
