How do you be friends with the opposite sex? Especially when it is obvious that you are so compatible with one another however hes a pig and wants someone 20 years his senior and thinks that having a really good freindship with you is enough.

hey, sounds like you're getting mixed signals. It is possible that you are both simply afraid of rejection; maybe he is taking it slow because he is waiting for you to show interest and reciplicate calls/invites. Or, it could be that he just wants to be friends, or maybe he isn't sure what he wants.

What I do know is this: it is important to own up to your feelings...because being rejected is better than missing the boat and never knowing.

I have been in a long term relationship, and a year and a half ago we bought my engagement ring, but I have yet to receive the question and ring. A few months ago I met a guy that has taken my breathe away. Only thing is that the new guy wants to be friends and work into a relationship. I am so lost. Anyone have any suggestions?
