Create a wedding scrapbook to remember that special day throughout the years.
Planning Topics
Wedding planning is often a mad blur. It's hectic, time consuming, and stressful. But it's also a blast.
The Pre-Wedding Parties. Did you have a bridal shower? A bachelorette party? Did your husband have a bachelor's party?
The Dress. How long did it take you to find it? Did you know it was the one right away? Where did you buy it? Who helped you choose it? How much was it?
The Date. How did you choose it? Does it have significance?
The Colors. Why did you select your colors? How did you select them?
The Wedding Party. Friends? Family? Both? Why did you chose them? Who did your husband choose?
The Location. Did you get married in the church that you grew up in? At home? On the beach? In the mountains? Why did you select the place that you did?
The Reception. Where did you have your reception? At the same place as the ceremony or different? How did you select it? What type of music did you have? What kind of decorations? What type of food?
The Cake, Flowers, & Decorations. How did you select them? Did your husband help in the decision? Describe them.
The Traditions. Did you have a traditional wedding? Did you wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue?
The Honeymoon. Where did you go? How did you decide where to go? What preparations were there?
There are so many things taking place during the planning process that it can often get confusing and crazy. Be sure to save all the little things, such as brochures and receipts, to help you create your scrapbook when the craziness has ended.

The big day is finally here!
The Rehearsal and Dinner. Did everything go as planned? Did anyone toast? Describe your last night as a single person.
Getting Ready. Did you and your wedding party get your hair done? What was your dad's (or mom's) reaction when he first saw you?
The Ceremony. Did you recite your own vows? What readings did you have? Were their any mistakes or did everything go perfectly?
The Reception. How long did it last? Who caught the bouquet? What was your first dance song? Did you do any other dances? Who toasted and what did the say?
The Memories. What sounds, tastes, or smells remind you of your wedding day? Did the day fly by or were you able to savor every last minute? Were there any special or unique things that happened? Did you have any surprise guests?
The Couple. How did it feel to be husband and wife?
While including photos is a given, there are other unique wedding mementos that you can save in your scrapbook. Consider photo-copying your marriage license and including it in your book. You can also include copies of your readings, music, invitation, programs, and such.
