October is the month to spook up your romance because even Halloween can become a romantic holiday!

Do something nice for your significant other today -- remember that the little things usually mean the most!

Take a few moments and send your sweetie a card today for World Card Making Day. Seeing as it has the word making in the title, the idea is to create a hand-made card. Even if it's just a basic heart-shaped card with a few words of love, it's the thoughtfulness that counts here. Even if you don't have a creative bone in your body, you can create this card and add in a simple 'I Love You'.

Ladies, today is the day to really surprise your guy. Get on some sexy lingerie then tell him to come in and take you now! ;)

Give your sweetie a smile when you wake up, then send him/her smiles throughout the day. Put smiley face stickers around the house (on her purse, in his briefcase, etc) or send a :-) via email, IM, or text message.

Get reservations at a 5-star restaurant, done your formal wear, rent a limo, and head out for an incredibly romantic night on the town. Want to make it even more special? Book the honeymoon suite at a hotel for the night and head there after dinner.

This may not seem like the most romantic of days, but you'll be pleasantly surprised. Pick up a bottle of sensual shampoo, fill up the tub, and soak in the tub together. Washing each other's hair is surprisingly sexy and sensual.

This sweet treat can be topped with delicious strawberries or decadent chocolate. Sweeten it up more and eat it off each other -- with whipped cream.
