July is the month for to celebrate independence. Not independence from one another, but rather the idea that you are two independent people working together as one. So celebrate your independence and dependence on each other.
July 1 - International Joke Day
Give your sweetie something to laugh about today by sending them a funny relationship joke (be careful to pick on that won't offend!). Keep the laughs going through the night and head to to a local comedy club for some belly rolls.
July 2 - I Forgot Day
Today's the day to let your partner know that you haven't forgotten everything that they do for you. Write them a special note or take them somewhere special and remind them about how much they mean to you.
July 4 - Independence Day
Yes, even the 4th of July can be a romantic holiday. Share an afternoon picnic together, then head to your city fireworks show and share a kiss during the grand finale. July 6 - International Kissing Day
What started as a holiday in the United Kingdom was quickly adopted worldwide. Today we celebrate the kiss and the simple pleasures associated with it. Try one of our more than 100 types of kisses to celebrate!
July 7 - National Strawberry Sundae Day
Enjoy a romantic dessert date sharing a delicious strawberry sundae.
July 8 - 14
Nude Recreation Week is celebrated during the 2nd week of July. Celebrate this week by spending your time together in the nude! ;)
July 14 - National Nude Day
You know what to do. Need we say more...?
July 15 - National Ice Cream Day
Celebrated on the 3rd Sunday in July, this is another excuse for a mini date. Grab dessert together at your local ice cream shop (1 ice cream sundae with 2 spoons!) or create your own ice cream sundaes together at home.
While we encourage you to do this every day, make a special effort to make today a more romantic day than yesterday.
Christmas in July
Get out that holiday music, crank the AC up and shower each other with romantic 'Christmas' gifts.
National Picnic Month
An intimate picnic lunch together is one the simplest, yet most romantic dates. This month, make an effort to picnic together. Skip out of work early one day and meet for a rendezvous in a park or spend a leisurely Saturday afternoon at beach, swimming, lounging, and picnic-ing together. For something different, make it a midnight picnic with wine and dessert, then lay out stargazing together.
