3 Things to Consider when Picking a Sexy Costume

If you've been browsing the racks of costumes and keep coming back to the sexier selections, but aren't sure if you can pull it off, we've got tips to make you feel more comfortable.

1. Don't let your body image (or perception thereof) get you down. Every woman has things that they like and don't' like about their bodies. Instead of focusing on those features that you don't like, pick a sexier costume that highlights those features that you do like! Corsets can cinch waists and push up breasts. Sleeves and capes can hide arms. Stockings, tights, or slightly longer skirt can hide thighs. Just remember, you don't have to be a super model to look sexy. Be a little bold, go a little wilder, and you'll be sexy and naughty all Halloween night.
2. Pick the appropriate outfit for the event. There is a time and place for every type of clothing, including sexy Halloween costumes. If you're attending a party with children, we'd recommend skipping the sexy costume all together. If you're going to a professional office party, go with something that's modestly sexy. Skip the plunging necklines, super short dresses, and fishnets. If you're attending an adult-only party, turn up the heat and get your sexy on.
3. Consider your activities. Are you going to be dancing all night? If so, skip the leather as you'll be hot in a way that's un-intended. Going trick-or-treating? Skip the stilettos. Partying outdoors? Go with something a little less skimpy and opt for tights over fishnets.
