Yep, you read that right. What would your wedding be without your college mascot? If you can’t possibly imagine your big event without sporting your colors as well, you’re in luck. Many mascots are now available for rent. According to Kiplinger Magazine’s Auguest 2007 issue, renting a mascot for your big day can cost $250, plus $100 an hour.
If you’re a bride that wants all eyes on her, we recommend leaving the mascot at school. According to the University of Wisconsin’s Bucky Badger mascot (Kiplingers magazine), “You don’t want to upstage the bride and groom, but in the end you kind of do, unfortunately.”
At least the kids will be entertained.
