A person with a heart line that is long, flat, and ends under the index finger is generally known as a thinker.

A thinker tends to do just that: think rather than feel. Thinkers tend to be sentimental and idealistic when it comes to relationships, but they have to think things through rather than acting simply on their emotions. They tend to have a "do it myself" attitude and avoid asking for help. They'll suppress their needs and feelings in order to make sure that everything in their life and relationships is ok.

The real problem with thinkers is that they tend to hold on to idealistic dreams rather than pursuing a real life relationship with the potential for problems and difficulties. Even if there are no problems or deterrents in a potential relationship, thinkers tend to think of the probable or potential problems instead.

While considerate and responsible in a relationship, their relationship must have meaning and fulfillment because they work hard at them. An ideal relationship for a thinker would be one that is filled with romance, including romantic gestures, romantic dinners, and long talks about the past and future as they enjoy reminiscing and planning their futures. Thinkers will even give up their personal comforts for their idealistic views on making their relationships and romance better for their partners. The key is finding the right partner where giving up personal comforts isn't necessary.
