Nurturers tend to express love and intimacy with charm and confidence. They are giving individuals, focused on pleasing their partners more than themselves. The real truth in this though is that nurturers are caring and sentimental and see their giving as their true gift to others.

A nurturer can get into trouble in a relationship when they forget that receiving is as important as giving. Because nurturers tend to give 150%, but are attracted to those that give less, a nurturer must make their expectations clear rather than silently expecting something in return. If a nurturer fails to do this, the end result is a feeling of resentment of being "used". If they have made things clear from the beginning and have a willing partner, then the nurturer is able to give -- and receive -- willingly and freely.
