A person with a heart line that is flat, short, and ends near the middle of the palm is generally known as independent, reserved, and less emotional.

These independent individuals are passive about giving and receiving love and commitment. In relationships, they tend to show their love by doing practical things, such as filling your gas tank or scraping ice off your windshield, rather than more intimate, romantic tasks. For instance, rather than spending money on a romantic getaway, the independent individual would rather use the same funds to invest or put a down payment on a home.

Independent individuals are practical, loyal, and dependable, though often feel the need to be alone. While these individuals sometimes create friction or cause fights to get downtime, they don't hold grudges and easily forget and forgive (even if they caused the initial problems!)

Independents generally work best with nurturers as they can freely give love, while the independent can passively receive it.
