Palm Reading: The Heart Line

Everyone has a heart line, but different people have different types of heart lines, each giving insight into your person characteristics, relationships, and emotions. Your heart line represents love in your life, including your ability to love and be loved.

If you look at your open palm, you'll see two main horizontal lines. The upper of these two lines is your heart line. It generally starts on the opposite side of your head line (the lower horizontal line) and ends somewhere around your index finger.

Just as your hands each represent different aspects of your life, your heart line on each hand represents different aspects of your love life and emotions. Your heart line on your right hand represents how you relate to others, your love experiences, and your passion for life and living. Your left hand represents how you feel about love and your specific relationships.

While you have a separate marriage line that gives insight into your marriage and relationships, you can also get information about your marriage from your heart line. After examining your own heart line, compare your palm to your husband or wife's palm. If your heart lines are similar, that usually means that you'll have a successful marriage. Some hand have a sex line, but some heart lines have a stronger effect on your sex life than others.

• If your heart line becomes a steep curve below the index and middle fingers, it's said that you have a strong sexual desire.
• If your heart line ends under your index finger, then you're picky when it comes to sexual partners.
• If your heart line is straight and short, then you have a strong sex drive and prefer action over romance.

If your heart line is different from these described, then it doesn't have as strong of an effect on your sex life. Each type of heart line gives insight into a different characteristics related to romance, love, and relationships in your life. Select the heart line that most closely matches your heart line for more information on your personal heart line characteristics. If your heart line is in between any of these, select the type that most closely matches your heart line.

Curves up, ends under the middle finger.	Flat, short, ends near the middle of the palm.
Long, curving down at the end.	Curves up, ends under the index finger.
Long, flat, ends under the index finger.	Ends at the edge of the palm.
