How Are The Pickings For The Men In Your Area?

Do you live in an area that has some slim pickings for men? Why not move to another area where your chances are better in finding that right one?

Well why not? You'd be surprised by the number of people, men and women, who aren't happy with the selection of available mates in their areas.

Whether it's a new career, a compatible mate, or both, there are a large number of people who move out of their hometowns and cities for a different change, a new outlook on life...and finding that right mate.

Certain parts of New York are a good example for many women who are tired of the area they live in where the women outnumber the men. It makes it even more difficult living in New York City, especially when there are more walking, talking meatloaves in larger cities. Some women just don't have a fighting chance.

Some brave woman (who know what they want in life, goes after it, and makes it happen) are moving to other areas where the odds are more in their favor. Does this sound like only a desperate, lonely woman would do? NO! Absolutely not! This sounds like what a smart woman would do when she wants something, and goes after it to make it happen! She does the unusual to get the things she desires in life. And many, many women do exactly just that. There's nothing wrong with a little change in ones life. Is there?

In "Silicone Valley," in northern California, south of San Francisco, it's estimated that there are 40,000 more men to women, from the ages of 20-40. Wow! We bet northern California has the highest sales in hand lotion!

The reason for this high ratio (if it is indeed true) of men to women is because northern California is an area of high-tech industries that is dominated by men. That's where a lot of the computer millionaires are. Many of them make their money in computer web sites.

But...the problem some women living there already are having is that they have found many of these "catches" don't have a knack for conversational skills and etiquette. Computer geeks, what can you do? And they spend too much time at the office. It's always something, huh? But, the men do outnumber the women. By how much, who really knows. But the market, if you want to call it that, is there for single women looking for more favorable choices to choose from.

Then there's Alaska. The men definitely outnumber the women in certain parts of that state.

Yeah, yeah, I know why. But actually Alaska isn't as bad as it sounds. Well...yeah...it is cold.... But there's more to it than just that. If you are a nature person and love the great outdoors...and you are looking for better odds in more men (we sound like a travel agent!), Alaska is one of the best places to go.

Now I'm not talking so far up north that you are with the polar bears. We have known a couple of women who went there for their vacation...just to see.

Many others go on cruises, but find out that most of the passengers are already with a wife or girlfriend ... or mistress. They landed up spending thousands of dollars, only to see the ocean, with a stop over at a couple of countries...alone! So, where are you going on your next vacation?

Are you the kind of woman who does the unusual to get what you want? Are you one who makes things happen? Well...are you? Are you in a small town or in any kind of an area where the good, quality men just don't exist? Do you want to improve your odds? Well, relocate. Get rid of any excuses...then make it happen. You will never get anything worthwhile out of life unless you make it happen! Think about it, could relocating to another area be the answer for you? Are you up to a new change in your life, or should I say love life? RELOCATE? Why not? If You Truly Want Anything Out Of Life That You Desire, Then You Have To Make It Happen.

Do The Unusual To Get What You Want. Having a mate by your side is not what should make you happy. It's part of it, but not all of it. You have to be happy with yourself first. But, if you have a job where you can take it or leave it and you don't care that much for where you live, why not consider moving to another town or city where the odds are better in finding more men? What have you got to lose?

Find out the demographics for the male population of towns and cities by going on the Internet to censusgov.com. Here is where the Census Bureau lists all the cities and towns with the demographics of the population. No sense going to another area if there are fewer men than where you are now. There are some relationship/dating books that list the areas where there are more men, but it's only by a few thousand or so. These areas are not really worth the move.
