I agree with Rob, the love-dovy stuff is nice but my husband and I are people who like to get outside and do something. These gifts just really seem thoughtless to me

I found a a lady on the net that sells custom personalized gifts she makes from old books she calls them pages from the heart gift books. They are personal photo's and poems or song lyrics (I had her put a couple of verses to "our song" in the one I had made) depending on what you ask her to use. All beautifully decorated with little paper flowers and other bits and pieces of paper decorations they are definitely unique being made from a recycled book (paper) would make a great first year anniversary gift my wife was over come with hers and so happy and is still showing off the gift to everyone that enters our home and our anniversary was five and a half months ago.Google Pages from the Heart gift books or there's a link to her site through wandasworx.com.
This was our 5th anniversary I wish I'd found this ladies site sooner as I think it would of been nice to of had one of these books made every anniversary from the first and onwards.
