If you're looking for a romantic, creative anniversary gift idea for your husband and don't want to follow the traditional anniversary gift lists, check out these ideas. The key in anniversary gift giving is to find something that fits your husband's personality, but is filled with love and romance as well.
Gift Baskets.
You can create your own or purchase them online. Try a sports themed basket filled with fun stuff from his favorite team such as t-shirts, caps, or even tickets to a game that you'll attend with him. Another great basket idea for men? Create a 'second honeymoon' basket. Fill it with sexy gifts such as an intimate board game, sex toys, and body frosting. Include a coupon book for 'favors' down the road. It's the perfect gift for any man.
Cook.
You've probably heard that the way to a man's heart is through food. Surprise him with his favorite meal or a gourmet meal filled with aphrodisiacs. Serve him naked or in lingerie.
Engrave a gift.
If he's a sports nut, get him an engraved baseball bat. You could go formal with engraved cufflinks or fun with an engraved flask. Replace his wallet with an engraved leather wallet with a gift card to his favorite store inside. The possibilities are endless.
Award him.
Get him a trophy for being the 'Husband of the Year', 'Best Lover', or 'Sexiest Man'. Find a unique trophy, engrave his award, and add an extra special anniversary message as well.
Buy him a tie.
Remember the scene in 'Pretty Woman', when Richard Gere arrives home to a naked (except for the tie) Julia Roberts telling him that she bought him a tie? Recreate this scene in your own home. Get him a designer tie for a gift and surprise him with it on.

Many times it seems like the guy gets left with what ever can be bought in time. Guys do actually enjoy when you take the time to show you really appreciate them and your anniversary is a great time to do so! Try the old breakfast in bed or having a relaxing picnic or BBQ with just the two of you (and a nice fresh bottle of wine of course, I love Riesling because it's summery and sweet). Don't forget that your anniversary isn't about how much money you can spend to show you care but a day to celebrate the time you share with the one you love.
Guys also enjoy poetry that comes from your heart. Don't underestimate the power of a great smile, -DRESS UP- for him (my guy hates my comfy sleepy-pants and t-shirts I wear around the house and I usually wear my flip flops year round...today is NOT the day for these things. lol), and let the day be your oyster! Don't fret and make it a stressful situation, he will like it much more if you are being you and having fun with him. :)

It's our 14th anniversary, so looking for ideas. My husband liked the tie idea, except wonders why you didn't bother to list Julia Roberts phone number
